I sent the two free agents to minors and it cost me 2000. Then they came back and automatically went down after I was able to rename them.

you must use the page where you can change the name. it is on this page is Free

When I entered it asked me to change numbers but did not allow me to change names. I then went to farm league and sent the two players to minors at a cost of 2000. When I logged back in later the two players allowed me to change their names and send them to minors. But the initial move cost me 2000 dollars and it was not returned
